The Nebraska Cornhuskers football team will take on the Oklahoma Sooners Saturday for the 50th anniversary of the "Game of the Century".

This game will be much different than the Game of the Century in 1971.
In 1971, it was Number 1 against Number 2. This year, Oklahoma comes into the game ranked #3 in the latest polls. Nebraska isn't anywhere near being ranked.
In their latest games, Oklahoma defeated Western Carolina 76-0. Nebraska got by Buffalo 28-3.
Oklahoma has a 2-0 record. Nebraska is 2-1 after losing the season opener to Illinois.
It will still be another great day of Husker football in Nebraska with many parties to be had.
Let's hope we see one of these Game of the Century Johnny Rodgers runs from a Husker on Saturday.
