The first pitch in the World Series will be thrown by a girl with a 3D arm

A 7-year-old girl with a 3D-printed prosthetic hand to throw out the first pitch at the World Series game! Hailey Dawson was born with Poland Syndrome, a birth defect that limited her right hand to a palm, little pinky and thumb with only cartilage, no bone. Students at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas helped give Hailey a functional hand that operates on wrist movement. The game she’ll appear in has yet to be released.
