Kenny Chesney just released his new album “Songs For The Saints” and sat down to answer some questions for fans on Facebook Live.
Kenny said he started making the record in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, and while he admits that it was an “anxiety-riddled” time, a lot of music came from it. He also hopes that people who listen to it will get a lot of “healing from it,” noting that making the album was “very therapeutic” for him and that it “personally helped me a lot.”
Kenny shares that making this record was different than any record he’s ever made before, “because it was about a certain place, about a specific group of people that I’ve grown to love over the years, whose world was turned upside down.” Check out his Q&A here.
