Petting a dog makes your friendlier!

A new study found that the mere act of petting a dog makes you a friendlier person. According to researchers in Switzerland, being around a dog increases activity in the pre-frontal cortex -- the part of the brain that regulates social and emotional interactions. Basically, petting a dog makes you more sociable. And those good feelings last even after your interaction with the pup.
