Each year, the highlight of the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, California, is the popular contest to crown the World's Ugliest Dog, and if you think your pooch has what it takes to compete for the title, organizers are now accepting applications. Specifically, they're looking for dogs with "too little hair, too many wrinkles, an unusual nose or a funny waddle" to take the title from last year's winner -- a 17-year-old Chinese Crested-Chihuahua mix named Mr. Happy Face. The event, which is scheduled for June 23rd, offers a top prize of $1,500 for the owner of the winning dog, a $200 prize for second place, and $150 for third place. Applications can be submitted on the fair's website.
