When a bride insists on having things her way for her wedding day, she often gets labeled as a “bridezilla,” even though it’s her day to call the shots. But this time it’s a wedding guest who’s being called out for their over-the-top requests by the bride-to-be herself.

The unnamed woman shared the story in a Facebook wedding shaming group, expressing her shock after an “entitled” guest sent back an RSVP card for her wedding. It starts off with the guest saying six people would be attending, when only two were invited, and it only goes downhill from there. The bride-to-be posted a photo of the card with the “unhinged” demands the guest made, including:

  • Their family is planning to arrive in a motorhome and told the bride and groom they would need to hook their RV up to power.
  • They also write that they’ll need a ride to all wedding festivities.
  • With the wedding just weeks away at this point, all plans have been made, but the guest offers, “We would be happy to host a breakfast Friday morning for all at your home.”
  • They even had the nerve to tell the bride and groom that it “took a lot of planning” for them “to make the trip.”

People in the wedding shaming Facebook group were outraged on the bride’s behalf, with one commenting that their “jaw actually dropped.”

  • “God, once in my life I would love to have this level of chutzpah,” writes another.
  • “It’s wild to me that people think they can still bring extra guests, let alone make the logistics of their transportation on the day of the wedding the bride and groom’s problem,” a third comments. “How are some people so oblivious?”
  • An update from the couple shares how they dealt with the guest … by rescinding their invitation.
