There's some good news if you're planning on hosting Thanksgiving at your house this year. Although inflation is still driving up the price of many grocery items, the turkey is going to cost much less than last year. All poultry items were very pricy last year due to a devastating bird flu outbreak, but that's over now, and the turkey is expected to cost you about 25% less this year. The same thing goes for other poultry items like eggs and chicken. The lower cost should offset higher prices of all other grocery items. which are expected to cost nearly 3% more than last year.
