The Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) is hosting Therapy Dogs of Santa Barbara during the holiday season to help alleviate travelers' stress. The therapy dogs, trained to remain calm in busy environments, will be present on specific days and can be identified by their purple bandanas. This initiative is expected to be beneficial during a period of increased travel, with over 2-thousand daily travelers anticipated.
