- United Airlines and American Airlines are paying special tribute to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift during this year’s Super Bowl!
- After the Chiefs clinched their spot in the big game, United Airlines announced six direct flights between Kansas City, Missouri, and Las Vegas. Each one carries a special flight number created in honor of the couple, who openly showed PDA on the field after the AFC Championship win on Sunday.
- Among the new flight numbers listed is UA 1989, for Taylor's famous album. UA 2287 is also listed as a nod to Swift’s 2012 hit song “22" and Kelce's "87" jersey number.
- “These special flights will provide direct flights for more than 1,000 Kansas City fans to get to Vegas to cheer on the Chiefs,” the airline said in a release.
- American Airlines also posted a flight from Kansas to Vegas - numbered AA 1989 and a return flight from Vegas to KC, numbered AA 87 honoring Travis' jersey number.
- Some NFL fans have called for the league and media to stop focusing on Kelce and Swift's relationship.
- Taylor heads to Japan for four nights of her blockbuster Eras Tour from February 7-10. We shall see is she makes the trip back from Japan to support Travis and attend the Super Bowl.
