Dolly Parton isn't slowing down at all -- in fact, she seems to be speeding up with her third book in three years.
Dolly and sister Rachel Parton George, along with record and radio industry vet Maurice [pr: MORE-iss] Miner, have collected family recipes and stories for their collaboration Good Lookin' Cookin' - A Year of Meals. The sisters share 12 multi-course menus and the corresponding recipes, which include ham and biscuits, barbecue spare ribs, slaw of many colors and strawberry shortcake. In addition, you'll get personal stories of the Parton family and the time they spent around the table.
Dolly says, "I do believe you're going to love all these great recipes, and I think you're gonna have as much fun reading these stories and things that we put together for you as we did."
Rachel adds, "Through the years, we’ve washed many dishes, cleaned up plenty of spills and shared a lot of laughter...Everyone knows Dolly as a great singer-songwriter -- and she is -- but she’s also very creative in the kitchen."
Good Lookin' Cookin' comes out September 17th, just in time for Christmas gift giving.
