On Monday the 8th, not everyone is going to be able to make it to the line of totality and enjoy the historic solar eclipse in its prime glory. For those people, there’s the internet, and NASA is hosting a live streaming event…and, what’s more, you won’t go blind staring at it on your computer screen or smartphone. NASA’s coverage will begin at 1:00 pm ET and will feature the eclipse as it happens across the country. In addition, there’ll be appearances from NASA experts, astronauts at the International Space Station, and a peek inside NASA’s “eclipse science experiments.” The broadcast is scheduled to last three hours.
