A California man is making a great argument for not throwing anything away. Scott King's 18-year-old daughter said she wanted to go to Disneyland to celebrate her high school graduation, and that's when Scott suddenly recalled winning a free park admission ticket while visiting Disneyland back in 1985. With the cost of a day ticket to Disneyland these days soaring as high as $179, Scott thought it was worth trying to find the old ticket, which he did. The next step was to see if Disneyland would actually honor it after 39 years, which they did â much to everyone's amazement. By the way, the price of admission to Disneyland in 1985 was $16.50.Â
