- A total of 2.6 million mugs are being recalled because 91 people have been burned while using the product.
- The faulty containers are the 12- and 16-ounce Switchback and Trigger Action travel mugs.
- The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the lids on the mugs could shrink when exposed to heat, preventing them from attaching correctly.
- The mugs have been sold since 2016.
