NORAD Is Ready to Track Santa for the 70th Year
Santa’s sleigh isn’t just powered by reindeer—it’s got serious tech behind it. For the 70th year, NORAD is tracking Santa’s Christmas Eve journey, and they’ve made it easier than ever to follow along.
What’s New This Year?
NORAD launched a refreshed website packed with games, holiday music, a countdown clock, and even a virtual North Pole village. It’s a fun way to keep the kids entertained while waiting for Santa.
How to Track Santa
On December 24, you can follow Santa in real time through:
- NORAD’s app and website
- Social media updates
- Alexa voice commands
- SiriusXM and OnStar
- A new web-based calling option that supports over 200 languages
Want to Call About Santa’s Location?
From 4 a.m. to midnight MST, volunteers will answer calls at 1-877-HI-NORAD. After midnight, an automated system takes over so you can still get updates.
