Smiling might feel good but it's not helping your age!

Smiling

Smiling might feel good, but it apparently isn't doing much to make you look younger. Researchers from Ben-Gurion University in Israel asked 40 participants to guess the age of 35 men and 35 women by only seeing photos of their faces. The ultimately said that smiling people looked older due to the wrinkles around their eyes. However, in a second experiment the participants were asked to recall the results of the first experiment, and they strangely remembered the smiling faces as being younger. The scientists think the result of the second experiment is because humans are conditioned to associate smiling with being youthful. A third experiment revealed that surprised faces look youngest of all. (Daily Mail)
