Hi, my name is Whiskey. I am a long haired Chihuahua that spent the last either years of my life living in a breeding facility. As you can see, I am one handsome boy. My favorite pastime is learning how to adapt to living in a house. I am still working on my manners and coming when called, but I am told that I am making progress every day.
I have lost most of my teeth and I really like soft food, however, I am often getting into the puppy kibble because I like it and I can. I am learning I can do anything. I like to play tag and, unless I am wearing a leash so you can catch me, I win. I have walked on a leash and as the weather finally gets warmer, my foster mom says we can walk for longer periods of time. I am also getting used to sitting in a bicycle basket. Look for me on the Keystone Trail with a great big lopsided grin. I have never been so happy.
I am still people shy and would do great in a home with another dog. If you have a fenced yard, that would be all the better, but it is not required.
My adoption fee is $200, or $150 if I’m adopted by a senior. I will come up to date on all of my vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. If you think we might be a good fit, please complete my application.
