Emma is the top girl's name for the fourth year in a row, according to the annual list of the most popular baby names released by the Social Security Administration on Friday. As for boy's names, Liam pushed last year's most popular moniker Noah to second place. The agency notes that other trends in the past year include a rise in the use of Melania for a girl--likely influenced by first lady Melania Trump. Meanwhile, the rise of popularity in Liam likely reflects the large population of Irish people in the U.S. who may not speak Irish, but have ethnic pride.
