Maddie Poppe was named American Idol’s season 16 winner on Monday night’s finale. In addition to featuring performances from several top 10 finishers, the episode featured Maddie delivering an encore performance of the song she auditioned with ("Rainbow Connection”) alongside Kermit the Frog. Earlier in the night, Maddie and runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson confirmed they are dating--and teamed up for a mashup of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "What a Wonderful World." Host Ryan Seacrest also presented the couple with a trip to Hawaii.
