Miss Nebraska (Sarah Rose Summers) was crowned the winner of 2018 Miss USA on Monday. The 23-year-old child life specialist and pilates instructor touched people by speaking about her childhood health issues during the pageant. USA Today reports that she will now go on to represent the United States in the Miss Universe competition. She will also spend the next year working as a spokesperson for the Miss Universe Organization, making special appearances and performing charitable acts. The competition also saw Miss North Carolina (Caelynn Miller-Keyes) and Miss Nevada (Carolina Urrea) coming in second and third place, respectively.
