Sylvie would love to be your FUR-ever pup!

Hello, I’m Sylvie!  I’m around 8 years old, a retired breeder mama who is so happy to finally actually retire…  I came to LWDR a big furry mess (take a look at my pictures on our website!) but following my spa day, I am quickly adjusting to the life of a queen.  My fur is growing out beautifully and I’m feeling a little more gorgeous each day.  During my first month in my new foster home I hid from everyone, even my fur foster siblings behind the couch.  And now even though I’m still shy around humans, I’ve pulled my dog bed out to be by the humans so I can watch TV, too.  I’ve really enjoyed watching the NBA Finals with my human foster siblings and I’m excited for the World Cup, but if I’m being completely honest… Lifetime movie marathons are the best!

I’m starting to forget just how shy I am sometimes, especially when my humans get home from work and when I think it may be time to eat!  At breakfast and dinner times, I do a hilarious prance all around the kitchen while I wait for my turn to be fed.

I’m working on riding in the car with my foster mama and it turns out I kind of like field trips, especially fields trips with treats!  I am working on my house manners and improving, but I’m not perfect.  I am crate trained and that is helping me work on these skills.  I will need a home with a fenced yard so I can explore outside safely and get some exercise, too.  I’ve been going to dog daycare every once in a while and my friends there and my fur foster siblings are really helping me learn to come out of my shell and be a more relaxed pet.  My foster mama thinks it is important that my forever home be one with another dog to help me with confidence and companionship.

My adoption fee is $250, or $200 if adopted by a senior.  I am spayed, microchipped and current on all of my vaccinations. If you are patient and kind and willing to work with me, I will reward you with such love and loyalty and many, many laughs with my silly facial expressions and antics!

Little White Dog Rescue has a meet and greet on Saturday June 9 from 12-2 pm.  Come see us at Pet Supplies Plus (98th and Q.) to find your new furry friend.
