On Sunday, supermodel Winnie Harlow waved the checkered flag a lap too early, thus officially declaring the race over before it should have ended. As ESPN notes, it's highly unlikely Harlow's error would have resulted in anyone other than Sebastian Vettel winning, as he maintained his substantial lead for what should have been the final lap. It turns out the gaffe wasn't entirely the former America's Next Top Model contestant's fault, as the flag was handed to her prematurely due to a miscommunication between race officials. "'It wasn't me' (Shaggy voice) when they tell you to wave the flag a lap too early," tweeted Harlow after the race, adding that she was "just following instructions."
