Dolce

Hi, my name is Dolce!  Dolce means sweet in Italian and that describes me perfectly!  I am a 9 year old Maltese who loves snuggles with my foster family but I am also happy to just chill in a soft spot on the couch.  Now here’s the bad thing – I have cancer.  My foster family has been working with the doctors to determine what, if anything, can be done for me.  They have determined that the cancer is contained and has not been spreading.  The doctors recommend x-rays every 6-12 months to monitor my progress.  They think my prognosis is good and don’t recommend any treatment!  This means I have a very good chance of having a number of years left to enjoy the life of a pampered family member.  None of us know what tomorrow may bring, but I hope it brings a special person who will love me forever.  In the meantime, I will wait patiently for that person to welcome me into their heart and home.

My adoption fee is $250, or $200 if I’m adopted by a senior.  I will come up to date on all of my vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. If you think we might be a good fit, please complete my application.

Little White Dog Rescue will be featured at a free dog behavior workshop, “Can You Hear Me Now?” on Saturday, June 16.  The event will be held from 11 am – 1pm.  Come see us at the Omaha Riverfront to find your new furry friend.
