A running club recently formed at a school in Rochester, Minnesota ... but there was a problem. Many of the students at the school weren't financially able to buy shoes -- and were at risk of not being able to participate.
The leader of the running club approached the owner of the Terraloco store -- Tiffany Piotrowicz -- and explained the situation.
Tiffany stepped up and donated a pair of shoes for each and every of the 14 members of the club.
The teacher in charge of the running club offered to pay for the shoes, but Tiffany insisted on donating them.
She didn't want money to be the reason kids weren't active and running and healthy. She also said she'd rather see the shoes getting use, instead of sitting on shelves at the store.
Thanks to Tiffany, this running team will get to train, learn and grow together through the summer and into next school year. (KTTC-TV)
