Flying today! TSA Warns today may be busiest in history!

If you're catching a flight today you may want to leave for the airport a bit earlier than usual. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) says today could potentially be "one of the busiest days ever" for their organization. The group predicts that between yesterday (June 28th) and July 9th, 28.3 million passengers and crew members will be screened, with 2.7 million of them being screened today alone. Driving these numbers, of course, if the Fourth of July holiday, which is next week. In a news conference Wednesday (June 27th), TSA Administrator David Pekoske told media outlets there could be an hour wait at some airports, depending on the weather and volume of flyers. He also acknowledged that TSA agents are prepared for the increase. Security officials also remind passengers that they will increase the screening of powdered substances in carry-on bags on international flights headed to the U.S. starting tomorrow (June 30th.)(Fox
