Boston Police Officers Sing in 4th of July-Themed "Cop Pool Karaoke"

Two Boston police officers have created a spoof of Late Late Show host James Corden's popular segment Carpool Karaoke. In a video titled "Cop Pool Karaoke," Officers Kim Tavares and Stephen McNulty celebrate the Fourth of July by singing "God Bless America" in their patrol vehicle. "With the stress that we have to go through on a day-to-day basis, you need something that levels that stress out and music, it just makes you happy," Tavares tells CBS Boston. McNulty adds, "If it can show the human side of officers, if they can look at us in a different way, and maybe if it inspires them to go sing a song with their friends, so much the better."
