Apple is likely very glad to hear this story. A woman from Iowa named Sarvinder Naberhaus says she took a leisure flight on a vintage American plan, and was taking pictures from the passenger seat when the wind caught her iPhone, ripping it out of her hands. She says the phone fell 1,000 feet to the ground. After landing, Naberhaus used the Find my iPhone app, and managed to find her cell in a patch of "really nice, tall, soft grass" in a residential area. She says it didn't have a scratch on it and was working perfectly. (Yahoo)
