A lost lion finds it's way back to a little girl

It's said that it takes a village to raise a child, but it also takes a village to reunite that child with her favorite toy.

A seven-year-old named Audrianna of Bend, Oregon, went hiking with her family when she noticed that her stuffed lion, Kitty, somehow fell out of her mother's bag and was gone.

As they descended back down the trail, they ran into Holly Spaman who noticed the distraught little girl and asked what happened.

Audrianna told her about her missing lion and asked if she'd keep an eye out for it as she hiked up the trail.

Holly continued hiking and searched for the missing toy, never expecting to find it in the middle of the wilderness -- but sure enough, she did.

Realizing that she never took down the family's phone number or address, Holly snapped a photo of Kitty and posted it on social media, hoping it would be shared enough times to eventually make it to Audrianna and her family.

Finally the local newspaper ran with the story and after a week, Audrianna was reunited with Kitty. Her mother was so grateful and said, "My daughter is so happy. I actually shed a few tears because of the kindness of Holly.” (Bend Bulletin)
