Hi, my name is Mollie! I am a 10 year old Bichon Frise that was released from a breeder. I am a total sweetheart that loves to be cuddled and held by my humans. My first night in my foster home, I played outside in the yard and spent the rest of the evening cuddling with my foster mom in a chair. Living in a house with a soft bed and fun toys are new to me, so I will require a family with the time and patience to teach me house manners and all of the other things I need to know.
At my first vet visit, it was discovered that I have cataracts, a substantial heart murmur (grade 3-4), a slightly enlarged heart, and fluid on my lungs. I have limited vision in the day time and can’t really see anything in the dark. The rescue’s vet team is working on a treatment plan. It is possible that I will require some extra vet care when I’m adopted so my new family should be prepared. I had 8 teeth removed during my dental, so I will need to stay on a soft food diet; I also have to stay on my heart medicine to regulate the heart murmur.
My adoption fee is $250, or $200 if I’m adopted by a senior. I will come up to date on all of my vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. If you think we might be a good fit, please complete my application.
