Two elderly men snuck out of their nursing home in Germany this past Friday to attend one of the largest heavy metal festivals in the world. According to the German news publication Deutsche Well, the nursing home reported the men missing and police found them 25 miles away at Wacken Open Air festival at roughly 3 a.m. Apparently, they walked and used public transit to make their getaway. The men were "disoriented and dazed," but "reluctant to go home." Authorities say the men were examined at a medical tent on the festival site, then set back to their nursing home by taxi at 6:30 a.m with a police escort following them. Some of the bands that performed at this year's festival include Judas Priest, Arch Enemy and Cannibal Corpse.
