Some married couples can’t keep anything from their spouses, but one Missouri man managed to hide something huge from his wife for a few days, so he could surprise her. Robert Beck told lottery officials that he called the Winning Number hotline and learned he matched all five numbers recently, making him a $325,000 jackpot winner.
After confirming the numbers and his win on the computer on a Thursday, he kept good news a secret from his wife until Sunday. And when he did spring it on her, he went huge - walking into the room with a large sign announcing he hit it big.
Robert’s wife, Raye, says she gets emotional easily, but this time they were happy tears she shed. He also brought her roses, so she could hardly be mad that he kept his win a secret for a few days.
