Garth Brooks' upcoming live album, called Triple Live, will feature an appearance by Ashley McBryde. Garth revealed the news during Monday's (August 20th) Inside Studio G Facebook livestream. He told fans, “Triple Live‘s coming and it’s coming soon. Ashley McBryde, does she have a song on there? Yes! Can you find a song in our catalog from Ashley McBryde? No! So this is gonna be good. This Triple Live is gonna be full of surprises and hopefully all the stuff that you kind of come to the show for, too.”
Garth wound up letting the news slip that he and Ashley recorded a new version of the title track of her debut album. He said, “She’s got a song called “Girl Going Nowhere” and we took a swing at it live. I’ve got to tell you, it was one of my favorite if not my favorite moment(s) on the record.”
Garth's Triple Live album will include recorded performances from his recently-wrapped three-year world tour. No release date has yet been announced.
