Need a good reason to hit the snooze button? Science has you covered.

Here's one more good reason to get more sleep. Men who get less than five hours of sleep at night are twice as likely to develop a major cardiovascular problem, according to a Swedish study released on Monday. Compared with men who got seven or eight hours of sleep, men who slept five hours or less were also more likely to have high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity. "The findings do suggest sleep is important," study author Moa Bengtsson said, "and that should be a wakeup call to all of us."
