Taking time away from the office is extremely important. Researchers from the University of Helsinki looked at data from 1,222 middle-aged male executives-- they began collecting data between 1974 and 1975. The men were observed over the next 40 years. They found men who took three weeks or less of annual work leave were 37 percent more likely to die during the course of the study compared to those who took off more than three weeks each year. They also found those who did not take regular vacations tended to work longer hours and get less sleep, both which have a severe, negative impact on health.(Daily Mail)
