Dolly Parton was prominent in high-end designer Gucci's runway show during Milan Fashion Week on Monday (September 24th). Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele let the legendary icon inspire him this season, putting an airbrush portrait of her on a sleeveless denim jacket and writing "Dolly" across the back, as well as creating a pink sweater with what the New York Post called "a Warhol-esque caricature" of Dolly on the front.
Gucci's Twitter account featured a picture of the jacket writing, "In a tribute to the most honored female country performer Dolly Parton . . ."
