Kat 103.7 Will Have Moment of Silence for Route 91 Victims

Members of the country music community will honor the victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting with a moment of silence on Monday, October 1. The Boot reports that radio stations, record labels and other organizations will observe 58 seconds of silence--in honor of the 58 people who lost their lives--at 10:05 a.m. PT. As the outlet notes, festival headliner Jason Aldean was performing on October 1, 2017, when a gunman opened fire on the festival grounds at 10:05 p.m. local from the 32nd floor of the nearby Mandalay Bay hotel and casino. In addition to the fatalities, 851 people were injured by the gunfire and while fleeing the scene.
