On Monday night’s episode of The Voice, coach Kelly Clarkson finally secured a country singer for her team. After losing country crooner Dave Fenley to coach Blake Shelton earlier in the night, Kelly and Blake faced-off for high school country fan Chevel Shepherd. Following Chevel's performance of The Band Perry’s “If I Die Young,” Kelly told the singer she was “dying to get a female country singer." While Blake gave a convincing argument about his success in country music, Chevel picked Kelly. The night also found Blake adding country singer Rachel Messer to his team.
