Cheerleader Allegedly Gives Away Pot Brownies to Win Homecoming Queen Vote

A high school cheerleader in Hartford, Michigan, allegedly gave pot brownies to her peers in exchange for homecoming queen votes. She also put the goodies in gift bags for Hartford High School's football players. "You always think you’ve heard it all and seen it all, and there is always something new to surprise you," Hartford patrolman Michael Prince tells WWMT. Police are investigating the incident after receiving an anonymous tip. Students who distributed the brownies could face felony charges. The cheerleader, who is the main suspect, is currently out of state dealing with an alleged family emergency. Authorities plan to interview her when she gets back to Michigan.
