Squirrel Runs Through Assembly Meeting

Who run the world? Squirrels. Or so it seemed on Thursday during a meeting of the London Assembly. According to the Evening Standard, the furry creature scurried in and out of a meeting room about six times while councillors were discussing London's Heathrow Airport and climate change. Committee employee Giles Broadbent caught the little guy on video and posted it on Twitter. Social media, of course, loved the event. The UK's Aviation Environment Federation tweeted about the squirrel's thoughts on the Heathrow expansion, "He said he thought it was totally nuts."
