Troy Gentry’s widow is launching a new foundation in his memory with a concert at the Grand Ole Opry next year. "Troy was taken too soon, but we felt his dreams and dedication to helping others needed to continue," Angie Gentry tells All Access. “He was very passionate about our military and their families, about those in need to provide for their children, cancer research, and the continuation of music education.” Taste of Country reports that the Troy Gentry Foundation launch party will feature performances from the likes of Blake Shelton, Chris Janson, Dustin Lynch and Montgomery Gentry's Eddie Montgomery. The event will take place on January 9, 2019, and will be co-hosted by Shelton and Storme Warren. Tickets will be available through the foundation's website.
