Eddie Montgomery is teaming up with Darius Rucker for a bittersweet cover of Montgomery Gentry’s 2007 hit, "Lucky Man." The track will appear on the November 16 release Montgomery Gentry: 20 Years of Hits, featuring hits the duo were re-recording before Troy Gentry’s 2017 death in a helicopter crash. Rolling Stone Countrynotes that its 12 tracks span the entirety of Montgomery Gentry’s career, from a Granger Smith-assisted cover of their 1999 debut single “Hillbilly Shoes” to “Better Me,” released in 2018 as part their Here’s to You album, which dropped after Gentry's death. Brad Paisley, Jimmie Allen, Rodney Atkins, Colt Ford, and Logan Mizewill also appear on the LP.
