Boa Constrictor Found in Goodwill Donations

An employee at a Fort Worth, Texas Goodwill location made a startling discovery in a donation box last Thursday: a live boa constrictor. Luckily, the news traveled fast in the media and everyone got a happy ending. As the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports, Austin Pair's albino, red-tailed boa constrictor had escaped back in May while Pair was away on vacation. He and his roommates turned the house upside down searching for "Toki," but to no avail. More recently, Pair had donated his old couch, so he assumes Toki had been living in the couch and slithered out upon arrival at Goodwill. His friend alerted him to the news story about the snake and Pair reunited with Toki on Saturday. "I'm getting my baby back," he said.
