A restaurant in Los Angeles has added a fancy new item to its dessert menu: a $500 brownie covered in 24-karat edible gold. UPI reports that chef Jason Harley, owner of Baby J's Burgers, is serving the decadent brownie in a humidor cigar box with a Monte Cristo cigar on the side. In addition to being coated in 24-karat gold, the brownie features glaze made with Johnnie Walker Blue Label scotch whisky. Harley previously made headlines in 2016, when his doughnut shop Birdies offered a $100 doughnut coated in edible gold.
