  • AP combed through census data and found that household incomes, employment rates, education levels, and the diversity of a population can affect longevity. 
  • Children born between 2010 and 2015 in Fearrington Village in North Carolina had the highest life expectancy rates of 97.5 years.
  • The lowest life expectancy rates—59 years—was found in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
