Pinkfong’s “Baby Shark” made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. According to the publication, the popular kids track entered at #32 on the chart dated January 12. While “Baby Shark” dates back decades, the South Korea-based educational brand created its own version of the track in 2016. It has gained traction in recent weeks, thanks to the “Baby Shark Challenge,” which finds participants dancing along to the song and mimicking its commands when applicable. After going viral in Indonesia, "Baby Shark" debuted on Billboard’s Kid Digital Song Sales chart in July 2018.
