We're gonna do a little money test this morning! Will you pass?

According to the Federal Reserve's 2018 report on the economic well-being of U.S. households, four in 10 Americans wouldn't be able to quickly pay off an expense of $400 with either cash, savings or a credit card. According to The New York Times,the report found that about 27 percent of the individuals surveyed would have to borrow or sell something to pay such a bill, and 12 percent wouldn't be able to cover it at all. The most encouraging finding was that the number of people who could afford such an expense has increased to 61 percent, up from 50 percent in 2013, when the Fed started the annual survey.
