Parents are always documenting milestones in their family’s life by snapping pictures and one mom and dad in Mississippi are celebrating their most recent life event with a hilarious photo shoot. Amy and Randy English’s youngest daughter, Haley Jones, is about to move out of the house and they marked the occasion with funny “empty nest” photos.
Jones, 22, is making a 30-minute move from Pontotoc to Oxford and recently started her own photography business, so the child-free pictures were a natural fit. In the now viral photos, taken by Jones, the mom and dad stand outside with their dogs, identified in one pic as the couple’s “favorite kids.” Another shot plays on pregnancy announcements and reads: “Expecting 0 kids June 2019.”
“Most parents are a little sad when they hit the ‘empty nest’ phase of life,” Jones writes in her Facebook post. “However, my parents seem thrilled.”
