Firefighter Uses YouTube Duck Sounds to Save Stranded Ducklings

A firefighter in Littleton, Colorado, came up with an ingenious ploy to coax some frightened ducklings out of the bottom of a storm drain--he used duck sounds he found on YouTube. A video from South Metro Fire Rescue shows the hesitant baby ducks, who were hiding in an adjacent pipe, moving towards he firefighter's phone as the duck calls played--allowing him to scoop them and move them to safety. The fire district said the ducklings were reunited with their mother, who was nearby.
