Kids want their social media wiped!

Social media can be fun, but it can also create problems. Researchers from the London School of Economics (LSE) reviewed studies from over a decade and found that kids were generally "outraged" when they realized how much of their personal information is stored online and wanted "a fresh start" once they turned 18. Study leader Sonia Livingstone adds, "They say 'whatever I do before I am 18 should be wiped off' as it shouldn't have any effect on them as an adult. They want a kind of grand erasure because they talk about the importance of making mistakes and being kids trying things out."
