Owner Raffling Off His $1.5 Million English Home

Peter Pearce of West Sussex, England, is raffling off his $1.5 million home known as Painter's Keep, in what he's dubbing the "Dream Home Prize Draw," UPI reports. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $2.55, and proceeds will go to St. Barnabas House, the hospice that cared for his late father, and Chestnut Tree House, a hospice charity that cares for children with life-shortening conditions. Pearce said he was inspired by an emergency appeal from donations by St. Barnabas, after the pandemic hit. Pearce renovated the home in 2018, and has owned it for 20 years.
