Taco Bell Now Makes Jalapeño Noir Wine

Taco Bell is constantly coming out with new menu items, but one we’d never expect them to serve up? Their own wine. The fast food Mexican chain is now offering customers a limited-edition Jalapeño Noir to pair with its new Toasted Cheesy Chalupa, but only in Canada.

The pepper-pun pinot noir is made by Queenston Mile Vineyard in Ontario and starting this week, Canadian customers who are over their legal drinking age of 19 will be able to buy a bottle of Jalapeño Noir at select locations or online using Uber Eats. Taco Bell describes the combo of the “rich taste and crunchy texture” of their new Chalupa and the “notes of wild strawberry, cherry and beetroot” in the red wine as “irresistible.”

While the Jalapeño Noir may not be making its way to the U.S., Taco Bell is expanding its boozy Cantina locations. And the Toasted Cheesy Chalupa is set to hit locations here in November, but we’ll just have to BYOB to create the perfect wine pairing to go with it.
